Building on the original sounds sculpted by Morrison, Tape Throb Records will look to release music which stems from the same nonconformity and desire to distort, blend, warp and innovate in the world of dance music.

Now the platform has expanded from a bedroom in Derry to a recognised genre amongst those in the know the label will look to bring in more fledgling artists who share the same unconventional creative ethos and build Tape Throb from a niche sound to a movement.
A movement that is at once soulful and punchy, warm but with a distinct sprinkling of fuck you.

Fittingly the first release scheduled for mid 2016 is this tape containing unreleased work by Buz Ludzha embracing a punk riddled jungle vibe punctuated with his signature warm distortion.

The sort of music that is beyond time. The sort of music that you feel more than you hear. I love the fact that vaporwave/dreampunk projects like these have such extremely evocative aesthetics they directly fill your mind with sensations you didn't know you had. You'd maybe think it relies on that solely, but it's coupled with gorgeous musicianship + intense production ideas. The volume and spaces it creates just pull you in instantly whatever your initial mood was. Still stunning to this day. SUPRAQUENCER
